My name is Emily and I'm a professional cyclist on the track. I have represented my country since I was 15 and next year I am aiming to make the Olympic team. My first major World Championships was back in 2013, where myself and three others won the Junior Team Pursuit and became Britain's first junior team to win a world title. Following that I have picked up four European titles in various age categories and countless World Cup medals in the Elite category. In 2018, I won my first Elite World Championships title in the Madison- a new Olympic event for next year! In 2018 I represented England in the Commonwealth Games in Australia in five different cycling events, which was the most amazing experience. Since then I have spent nearly six months off the bike with an injury, but have been battling back to full fitness ready to fight for my place.
In my cycling career, I have overcome many obstacles and faced many challenges head on, and with that I have a ton of experience in pushing to be the best you can be, playing to your strengths and the fine line between failure and success.
